The PIL College Access Program (CAP) provides a comprehensive service that includes student/family guidance, educational resources, college prep, athletic eligibility evaluation, college placement counseling, and student mentoring for Portland Public Schools student-athletes who have the desire to participate in collegiate athletics. In addition to helping students make an informed decision on the best available fit for post high school athletic endeavors, CAP can assist with the transition from high school to undergraduate and college athletic preparation.
The ultimate goal is to give student-athletes the support needed to establish relationships and a knowledge of opportunities beyond high school to achieve their goals both personally and professionally. as well as help them make an informed decision on the best available fit for post high school athletic endeavors.
